About  Sub-Centre Shimla 

• IETE Sub-Centre started functioning at Shimla on 14-03-1997  

• Formally inaugurated by the then Hon’ble Chief Minister of HP Shri Vir Bhadra Singh on 24-07-1997.  

• Successfully providing guidance to the student members in the form of individual counseling.
• Platform for the electronic and telecommunication professionals in the remote areas of Himachal Pradesh.  

• Creating generation awareness regarding the role of information technology and telecommunication engineering in the modern era in the masses of HP state by way of meetings, personal contacts and seminars in the urban and rural areas of Himachal Pradesh.
